Trinity Church: Krista Seddon, Dick's friend and musical partner in perfroming at Trinity Services, is helping to coordinate this weekend the acceptance of contributions towards a collective gift to the Friends of Dick Griffo fund that is set up. In addition, Krista and Trinity will have tickets available on sale for the Friends of Dick Griffo Benefit to be held on May 6th. According to Krista, there is a possibility Dick will play after positive treatments this week. Krista says, "he will be playing flute at Trinity this Sunday, 4/15: Morning service at 10:30 and also Trinity@7, our evening jazz meditation service. Trinity Episcopal Church 371 Delaware Ave. Buffalo 14202 (across from the Buffalo Club near Tupper.)" Thank you Trinity church and Krista for your support!
Rhythm and Don't Get The Tax Blues Revue: This Sunday, Sam Guarino is producing another of his R&B events to be held at Classic V on Niagara Falls Boulevard from 6pm to 10pm with a host of fabulous performers such as Billy McEwen and Barbara St. Clair. During the event, Frank Richiazzi will help pass a bucket around for contributions to be made collectively to the Friends of Dick Griffo Fund. Thank you Sam and Frank for your support!
Tuesday Night Jazz: This week's (4/17) Tuesday Night Jazz held weekly at Iris on Maple and Sweet Home and hosted by Dan Hull, will feature two powerhouses of jazz in the area - Bobby Militello and Phil DiRe' billed as Phil Dire' and Buffalo Bop. They are dedicating the night to benefit Dick Griffo and will accept contributions. Thank you Dan, Phil, and Bobby for dedicating a night to Dick Griffo!
